ISO World Meeting: the event
On Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th June the town of Bresso has welcomed the international ISO WORLD MEETING hosting all the vehicles produced by Iso and also by Bizzarrini plus the Isettas by ISO, BMW and Velam.

The guest
The meeting, which has been organized by the Iso Millennium Committee, has drawn passionates from Belgium, Germany, Holland, Luxemburg and Switzerland. The Committee has welcomed the representative of the Iso Bizzarrini Owners Club, Darren Frank and his wife Kathryn coming from New York, and Ing. Piero Rivolta and his wife Lele, from Florida, who joined two years ago the last Iso Rivolta meeting, as well.
Further, from Uruguay Leonardo Correa Luna has joined the meeting to witness the incredible coast-to-coast raid made by the Uruguaian Microcars Club with Isetta, from Uruguay to Chile through Argentina and the Andes.
Many of the people who practically made the Iso legend were joined the event: Pierluigi Raggi (technical office chief, designer of Isetta and of the chassis of GTs), Francesco Colombo (technician of the Iso team at Le Mans 24h race), Casiraghi (Iso pilot at the Mille Miglia in 1954) and the great Giotto Bizzarrini. Piarosa Preti, wife of Ing. Ermenegildo, conceiver of the Isetta, has sent her regards to the participants, providing some photographs and records for the exhibition framing the event.
Finally, the Committee had the pleasure to welcome Marion Barbieri Rivolta, her grand-daughter Marella and his husband Andrea Zagato.
 

The Vehicles 
The public could appreciate practically the entire Iso motorcycle production ( Iso 200, Iso 250, Isomoto I, II, III serie, Isomoto GT, D, E, C, Sport, Iso 175cc 4 tempi, Isomoto 125cc 4 stroke, Isoscooter 125cc with Iso-sidecar, Isoscooter "Diva" 150cc.) and also many Isettas by Iso, BMW (the sliding window, the bubble window and the tropical model) and by Velam (standard and Record version) and among the Gran Turismos, the Iso Rivolta GT (300 and 340), Iso Grifo (I and II serie, GM 5.3 and 7 litres, and Ford Cobrajet 5,7), Iso Lele (also in the very rare version "Marlboro" - only 4 exemplares in the world), Iso Fidia and the wonderful Bizzarrini GT 5300.

ISO Speed
 
On Saturday afternoon the participants have experienced the emotion of a fast driving session on the track of Bresso airport.
In joint with Aero Club Milano, the Iso Millennium committee has offered the passionates the possibility to test both their GTs and their motorcycles in a very suggestive frame and above all in the full security provided by the expert CSAI officers.

Isetta Day - The Iso Anniveraries Celebration

On Sunday the offical celebration of the Iso Anniversaries: of Isetta (50 year since its first exhibition), of Iso 200 (50 years) and the 40th birthday of the Iso rivolta GT, which took place exactly in June, 1962.
On this occasion Mrs. Marion Rivolta and the relatives of Nazaro Ghezzi have been committed a gift by the major Giuseppe Manni, who officially welcomed and gave a prize to the guests coming from America. 
In the end of the celebration the major offically announced the future realization of the Iso Museum, projected by the Iso Millennium Committee and Arch. Marco Cesana, which is going to be seated in some of the hangars in via Vittorio Veneto 66, where the Iso vehicles were born.

The two-days-long Bresso meeting met with outstanding success the participants and the guests and the same parade through the streets of Bresso has fascinated the inhabitants, as well.
The Committee has taken satisfaction from the great enthusiasm with which the guests joined the meeting, appreciating the very familiar and friendly atmosphere. 
And, saying goodbye, we have been often told: "To the next Iso world Meeting!"
